Types of Metal Braces in Our Practice
There are a few different kinds of metal braces. We use both traditional metal brackets and self-ligating metal brackets. At your consultation, we'll choose the type that best fits your treatment needs.
Traditional Metal Braces - Metal brackets with a separate tie that holds the wire in place. Those ties can be silver, clear, or colored.
Self-Ligating Metal Braces - Metal brackets with small built-in doors that hold the wire in place.
